Price includes a Herm Sprenger prong collar. If the trainers feel an e-collar is beneficial to your dog, we will condition them on one while they are with us. You can order your own from Dogtra, Amazon or Chewy (we will tell you what model is best for your dog).
This program is for dogs who need basic obedience training and don’t struggle with any behavioral issues (i.e. bites to humans or dogs, breaking out of crates, severe reactivity, debilitating fear or anxiety). It is best to start this program when your dog is at least 6 months old. In order to be eligible for this program, your dog must be crate and potty trained. During their stay, your dog goes on regular structured walks, are exposed to different environments, different animals (including livestock and wildlife), and become involved in our day to day activities, which build up real world skills and obedience. We strive to empower you as the owner and help build a foundation with your dog based on a mutual understanding, trust, and clear communication. We address issues such as:
Lack of Manners
Pulling on Leash
Whining
Mild Barking
Jumping on Guests
Mouthing/Nipping
Minor Destruction
Over-Excitement
In this program your dog will understand the following skills:
Sit
Down
Place
Heel
Foundation to Recall
Threshold and Door Manners
Calm in the House, Crate, and Outdoors
This program includes a 1 hour pick up lesson at the end of your dog’s stay, where we will teach you all the information, strategies, and techniques needed to ensure continued success.
Upon completion of this program, your dog has access to 1 one-on-one follow up lesson (more are given as deemed necessary by the trainers and are valid for 6 months) and has access to follow up group classes for 1 year (can be renewed for $200 per year). Your dog also gets lifetime access to our “Pack Walks” and day care ($30/day) and boarding ($65/night) services.*
