2-Week Board-and-Train: Basic Obedience

Includes a Herm Sprenger prong collar.

Designed for dogs that already have a solid puppy-training foundation and need help strengthening basic commands.

Eligibility: Dogs must be potty trained and crate trained.

Training focus

• Sit

• Down

• Heel (walking calmly on a leash)

• Place (go to a bed and remain there until released)

This program does not include behavior modification.

Follow-up support

• A 1–1.5-hour pickup lesson at the end of the two-week stay

• Four Basic Obedience follow-up group classes, valid for six months

• One private lesson after attending at least one Basic Obedience follow-up group class, at the trainer’s discretion and within six months

• Lifetime access to Pack Walks

3-Week Board-and-Train: Basic Obedience + 1–2 Minor Behavior Concerns

Designed for dogs that need reliable basic obedience plus help with one or two minor behavior concerns.

Eligibility: Dogs must be potty trained and crate trained.

Training focus

• Manners and overexcitement

• Leash pulling

• Whining and mild barking

• Jumping on guests

• Mouthing or nipping

• Minor destructive habits

• Reliable basic obedience

• Foundation for recall

• Threshold and doorway manners

Programs are customized to each dog. We will discuss concerns not listed here during your consultation.

Follow-up support

• A 1–1.5-hour pickup lesson at the end of the three-week stay

• Five Basic Obedience, Coexistence, or Distractions follow-up group classes, valid for six months

• Private lessons after attending at least one Basic Obedience follow-up group class, at the trainer’s discretion and within six months

• Lifetime access to Pack Walks

4-Week Board-and-Train: Basic Obedience + 1–2 Minor Behavior Concerns + E-Collar Conditioning

Includes a Herm Sprenger prong collar.

Designed for dogs that need reliable basic obedience, support with minor behavior concerns, and an introduction to e-collar communication.

Eligibility: Dogs must be potty trained and crate trained. E-collar conditioning is included only when the trainer determines that the tool is appropriate for the dog.

6-Week Board-and-Train: Puppy to Finish

Payment plans are available. The price includes training tools the trainer determines are appropriate for your dog.

An all-inclusive program for puppies approximately five to six months old. It builds a strong foundation for a well-mannered lifelong companion.

Eligibility: Puppies must be potty trained.

Training focus

• Crate training

• Confidence building

• Appropriate greetings and socialization with other dogs

• Reliable basic obedience, including name response, sit, down, and heel

• Threshold and doorway manners

• E-collar conditioning, when appropriate

• Off-leash reliability after completing all required lessons

Follow-up support

• A 1–1.5-hour pickup lesson at the end of the six-week stay

• Twenty Basic Obedience, Coexistence, Distractions, or approved Advanced follow-up group classes, valid for six months

• Private lessons after attending at least one Basic Obedience follow-up group class, at the trainer’s discretion and within one year

• Lifetime access to Pack Walks

The price includes a Herm Sprenger prong collar and, if the trainer determines it will benefit your dog, an e-collar. Depending on age and maturity, e-collar conditioning may begin during the stay or during follow-up lessons.
